Suquamish Basket Weaving

Basket weaving is an art that goes back hundreds of generations in the Suquamish tribe. Learn how cedar, spruce, and other materials are used to create useful and beautiful containers such as salmon trap, berry, and cooking baskets .

This program is in partnership with educators from the Suquamish Museum. A simple paper weaving activity will be offered at the end of the presentation. Ages 8 + please.
