Parent Peer Support Group

“By taking care of my own mental health, I’m able to be a more present and self-aware parent.”

Parent Peer Support Groups is a eight week group offered throughout the year for parents with children ages 5 years – 18 years old. Peer Support Groups range between 10-12 participants per group. The group is facilitated and guided by a curriculum created by BYS therapists. Areas of focus include:

  • Parent Well-being
  • Creating Connection
  • Developing Personal parenting values
  • Supportive Resources
  • Parenting techniques and strategies

Sign-ups for our spring Parent Peer Support Group have closed. We do maintain a waitlist for the first 1-2 weeks of the group in the event that participants drop out. Please email parents@askbys.org to be added to the waitlist.
