BYS Youth Advisory Board
The BYS Youth Advisory Board is a group of 10–12 motivated students in grades 9–12 who want to be part of something meaningful.
What We Do
As a Youth Advisory Board member, you’ll:
- Learn about local resources from guest speakers and community experts
- Engage in open and honest conversations about youth mental health
- Practice mindfulness and build your own personal resilience
- Participate in outreach and awareness activities that make a real impact
- Receive training to become a peer advocate and mental health ambassador
What We Expect
- A commitment from September through June (one school-year term)
- Attendance at weekly meetings at the BYS Office
- A minimum 75% attendance rate
