The Bainbridge Youth Services (BYS) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Jeannotte as Executive Director, following her service as Interim Executive Director since February 2026.
“Kelly brings strong leadership, academic and research expertise, and a deep commitment to young people and our community,” said Lee Moniz, President of the BYS Board of Directors. “The board has had the opportunity to see her leadership firsthand and we are excited to have her continue leading BYS as executive director. We look forward to supporting Kelly and the entire BYS team as the organization continues to grow and serve young people in our community.”
As executive director, Jeannotte will oversee BYS’s clinical, administrative and program operations while striving to strengthen community partnerships, organizational systems, fundraising efforts and opportunities to support young people and families. Her leadership responsibilities include financial oversight, staff supervision, community outreach, policy development, program evaluation and collaboration with schools, healthcare providers, nonprofits and other community partners.
“It’s an incredible honor to lead an organization that has been part of this community for more than six decades,” said Jeannotte. “BYS has a long history of supporting young people and I’m excited to build on that foundation while continuing to grow the ways we serve youth and families. At the heart of our work is helping young people feel supported, connected and hopeful about their future, and I’m deeply grateful to the board, our staff, donors, volunteers, community partners, families and young people who make our work possible.”
Jeannotte has an extensive background in psychology, child and adolescent development, higher education, research and youth well-being. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Child Development and is currently completing her Ph.D. fellowship at Claremont Graduate University. Her academic and research work has included adolescent development, positive developmental psychology, purpose, resilience and factors that help young people thrive.
