Expands Afternoon and After-School Counseling Availability
Bainbridge Youth Services (BYS) is pleased to welcome its newest therapist, Rosemarie Armstrong,
LMHCA, to our counseling team. BYS provides free mental health counseling for youth and young adults
ages 13-22, as well as for parents.
Rosemarie brings 12 years of experience working with youth and families in school, community mental
health and behavioral health settings throughout Kitsap County. Prior to joining BYS, Rosemarie worked
with Kitsap Mental Health Services and The Suquamish Tribe’s Chief Kitsap Academy.
Rosemarie is known for her warm, strengths-based and neuro-affirming approach to counseling. She is
passionate about helping youth build confidence, resilience, healthy relationships and emotional well-
being.
“Bringing Rosemarie Armstrong on board at BYS reflects our continued commitment to supporting the
mental health and well-being of youth and families in our community,” said BYS Interim Executive
Director Kelly Jeannotte. “Rosemarie’s arrival this week also enables BYS to expand the availability of
counseling services for the youth we serve.”
Rosamarie will provide counseling services Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Her addition
will expand BYS’s afternoon and after-school counseling availability and help BYS better serve local
youth seeking counseling services.
