BYS BRIDGE — Belonging, Representation, Identity, Disability, Gender & Equity
BRIDGE is a new BYS youth volunteer group focused on making BYS more inclusive, accessible, and representative of all young people.
Members will share their perspectives and advise BYS on disability and accessibility, gender, sexuality, culture, identity, equity, representation, and belonging. You can bring your own lived experience or participate as an ally—you do not need to identify with any particular group to join.
BRIDGE members will help identify barriers, share ideas, and provide feedback on BYS programs, events, outreach, spaces, and services. No experience is needed. We want youth voices to help us build a BYS where everyone can belong.
Time commitment: BRIDGE will meet quarterly, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. No experience is required—just an interest in helping make BYS and Bainbridge Island a place where all youth feel welcome, represented, and heard.

After school help for two elementary schoolers
We are looking for someone who can help take care of our two kids after school one or more consistent days/week for the rest of the school year. The ideal person could commit to Tuesday afternoons, or Tuesdays and Thursdays, or whatever days work best for you. If you have a drivers license and a safe driving record, we may have you drive our 7YO to some after school activities, but this is not required. Our 5YO has Down syndrome and the related developmental delays but he does not need specialized care. Both kids are very fun. We also have a small cute dog.

Seeking Musicians to play Holiday Music at The Cove Holiday Art Market
Do you love to play holiday music? Do you want to fill The Cove Holiday Art Market with your festive sounds? We’re seeking talented musicians to play for 1-hour time slots during our art market on November 14th.
We’re looking for individuals, trios and/or ensembles
We are paying a small stipend of $25 for each 1-hour time slot. You are also welcome to busk.
